A Blessing for All

May we open to deeper understandings of what healing can mean for us.
May we awaken each day to discover small blessings.
May we continue to choose gratitude for all the goodness that flows through our lives despite the disruptions in our neurons that don't always flow according to plan.

We will be leaving for PA in just a few moments. In the midst of packing I stopped to send various Rosh Hashanah greetings to friends. I wrote a special blessing for two friends who also happen to have MS and sent it to them. And then I thought. No. This is for every one. We are all struggling with something. We all experience disruptions in our "flow". Take out the word "neurons". What disruptions cause you to feel out of "flow", distracted, distraught, disconnected from the simplest blessings that fill and form the goodness of your life?

gentle steps,
Laura

  8. Laura,
I am so happy to know that are traveling to be with family for such blessed days. May goodness fill your days.

Distractions? For me it would be family crisis? Like this week, sudden notice that daughter's grants did not all come in for college. What to do? I spin for a bit, then catch myself, and remember how things always work out, always! Life is good, even when it is challenging.

And so glad you are going to be taking my Buddha Chick online course. You will be a beautiful, soulful addition to it!

    Hugs,
    Jan

  12. "May we continue to choose gratitude ..." Such a lovely prayer, Laura. I can't think of any disruptions in my life currently. In fact, the other day, I was thinking that I'm very happy that there is no discord or unhappiness in my life at this time. Just peace and goodness ... and good people like you. (Glad to hear you're taking the Buddha Chick course! I'm working the budget to see if I can, too!)

  15. Godspeed for your travels on the road and as you head into a new year.

Disruptions for me right now are a sick cat and no word for weeks from a son who lives far away. Lack of communication sets me back, and there is no way to make someone talk/share their life. C'est la vie.

Remember to look for the wonder in life....

  16. Fear, fear, fear. Did I say fear? I am learning to just allow, and it's amazing how the disruptions can actually be small ripples instead of large waves when I surrender.

Thank you for the blessings. May you also flow around any damm to your heart.
