You've really captured the feeling of fall here, Laura. The colors, the glory, and the black and white season ahead.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words and wonderful autumn photographs.
ReplyDeleteYour sky pictures and verse is lovely. Autumn is such a lovely time of the year, all the lovely colors surrounding us.

ReplyDeleteLovely photos Laura. I took a series of similar pix this morning that I will be posting on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Karen
what a pretty collection of autumn shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful series of fall photos and a lovely poem to go with them! Thanks for sharing :o)
ReplyDeleteThe silhouette photo is exquisite. Once the trees lose their leaves we see what they are made of, not unlike what we learn about ourselves when all the "extra stuff" falls away and it's just "us" left behind.
ReplyDeleteLovely skies, lovely trees, both clothed and leafless. The beauty of the tree stripped bare of its covering in the third photo is striking against that blue, blue sky. It lets in so much more light : )

I always think about the nutrients and goodness that the leaves bring back to earth...nature's best recycling. :)
ReplyDeleteOn my way to get my emissions test today, I was especially aware of the Fall foliage and the interesting sky. It was beautiful. I thank you for reminding me to stay aware of all the greatness around us.

Very pretty, a great post for the end of fall.
ReplyDeletePearl says it well - this is a beautifully crafted post Laura! I've been appreciating the colors now visible in the leaves outside my windows today. You are ahead of us with the leaf by leaf falling, as they hold on still, displaying their beauty before revealing the potential of further possibilities... I love the last shot, all in silhouette - it's really gorgeous.
ReplyDeletesending love, and healing blessings, in this moment of infinite possibility,
Karin
Beautiful pictures. I love the leaves -- looking as if they're rusted but still sparkling with the beauty of having lived on this earth. Wise old leaves.
