Eyes of Wonder

There are mornings I am certain my heart will burst, witnessing the elegant lace of frost on my window.

These trees, this snow and sky through winter's bridal veil.

I wake up next dawn, waiting for the sun to usher the kallah’s entrance, with the very same heart, (or is it?) This heart seems larger.

It is no small miracle, to be born with eyes of wonder yet again, and a heart so elastic.

  10. It's like living art, Laura. You're right - it's all in how we look at things. Beauty can be found in the most ordinary things which makes them extraordinary.

  12. woke up thinking of you this morning... and thinking of this verse:

"Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

May you know His presence on your journey through this day...

  18. "... born with eyes of wonder again ..." I really appreciate your sharing these photos; ice-frosted windows are not something we see except rarely in Southern California. It's wondrous to notice and appreciate the natural beauty that we live within. I find your pics more awe-inspiring than any manmade spectacle.
Peace and all good to you and yours always, all ways.
