Good Morning Sleepyhead

such joy

  4. Aw, that's so cute. I used to love snow days when I lived in New York. Now, in Southern New Mexico, snow is a welcome novelty.

But I'm having a quiet Sunday morning too. Enjoy yours.

  5. What a stunning shot, Laura!

I love snow days - they allow us to feel like we're playing hookey without any repercussions :)

  12. Ah yes, I remember that 'Hooray, snow day!!!' feeling! It really was a treat when that happened to me though, since in Montreal they very rarely closed the public schools since school buses can get through almost anything...

  13. Laura,

Such a peaceful feeling when all is still and the snow adds it's blanket to cover the sleeping household.

I remember with joy the feeling of peering out of steamed up windows and sensing the stillness that lay around me. Here the fog serves to create a similar effect. Good weather for art making...

  19. Lovely! To "wake when my body wants to" is one of the true joys of being retired. I hope I can maintain a small portion of the sense of wonder that beautiful little girl shows!
