Tenuous and Precious

It is often the simplest things we notice; new leaves like bat wings freed, silhouetted against the sky in a pattern that will last no more than a single day, that remind us how tenuous and precious each moment truly is.

  6. You either have the most beautiful trees or the best eye for finding beauty in the trees in all of New England! More profound words that remind me to appreciate each moment ~

  8. Yes, I have seen this here, but I think the leaves look like butterflies! I guess I will have to post mine sometime soon...I love the ethereal lacy-ness of new leaves against the dark evergreens!

  9. Small Stones, a few well chosen words of spirit, alive and carrying comfort and wisdom. Someone is in charge of the universe, I know it, I feel it, and I am comforted.

Photography and the ability to capture the tenuous moments is a blessing.

Glad you are up and about more, this is wonderful news.

Wishing you the best of everything in life!

  24. Before long you will no longer get that beautiful speckled view of the sky. The more the leaves, the less the view...but the tree becomes prettier and prettier. I think that is a fair swap. Beautiful shot.
