Words Become Wings: Twilight Abstract

Words become wings
Setting a caged soul
Free
Soaring from mind
Lifting a tender heart
High
Gliding with ease
Beyond a broken body’s
Sorrow

Words become wings
Coaxing a closed bloom
Open
Eyes and ears
Stir a forgotten dream
Awake
Fingers press keys
Transcribe a mute impression
Alive

Wings without words
Release a grateful song
Humming
Lips and throat
Vibrate a sweet melody
Riding
Winds of transformation
Transporting a renewed passion
Rebirth
