A River of Stones: July 8

Not wanting to miss a drop of the sweetness of my family’s love while traveling, I have been pushing myself to stay alert, to be as present as possible in every precious moment. Bone and brain tired, I sink down into the softness of the bed listening to my body as it whispers, “Rest, rest, rest while you can…soon there will be more relatives to visit…soon you will make the long journey home…rest, rest, rest while you can.”

  1. read back through your 'river of stones'... rest and enjoy, its worth it, reading your thoughts.

  2. There is a certain stage of tiredness which verges on the blissful. That call to rest to allow the batteries to recharge.

    Hope yours is sweet bliss!

  3. It is hard to let go of the limited time we have with those we love, and paying constant attention is exhausting under the best circumstances. Rest and restore so you can continue to soak up the vacation time you have yet to enjoy.

May you be healthy and strong ~
May you feel peaceful and at ease ~
