Shine the Divine:

Creativity IS a Spiritual Practice

When we see through our hearts, we recognize that every single one of us is infused with creativity. Divine Sparks are embedded in everyone and everything. It's up to us to be courageous, to look and listen deeply, to find the sparks, gather and release them back into the universe, transformed into something new. Join me as we wake up to the sacred-ordinary blessings waiting to greet us each and every day.

Landing

Traveling
The motion
Getting there
Landing
The stillness
Being here
And it doesn’t matter where
Just here
Between the edge of before
Perched on the tip of tomorrow
Balanced
Eyes wide open
Assessing safety versus danger
Fragile wings ready to flee
If fear rises
Yet somehow trusting the moment
Because really this is it
No matter how far you travel
You have to land somewhere
And this seems as good a place as any to…
Rest
And appreciate just how sweet
This very moment
Is
linking to my friends at:
d'Verse

I scheduled this post in advance as I will be traveling when it goes up and  I suspect there may not be internet service. In that case I won't actually be linked to d'verse, but click the link anyway because there are some amazing poets that participate and I'm sure you will enjoy their work!

  10. Yes...because we are always coming from somewhere and on our way to somewhere else. I want to rest, with gratitude for the present moment, and to appreciate how far I've come as I give thanks that I can journey on.

Love to you, my poet friend ~
