Beautiful and still so green! There are fewer and fewer trees that are still entirely green here. I love Fall colors, but I wish they lasted longer!

My sweet Friend--I'm on my way to see Sissy--I put the song you wrote on my MP3. I was so moved by that song--Moses' prayer for his sister--how appropriate, how lovely. The Hebrew language is so beautiful--such a poetic language.

Remnants

Before the eMeS, my now constant companion begged me to stay close to home, I taught art, yoga and meditation to Jewish teens in the Greater Boston area. The collage series in the slide show above was created using forgotten paper scraps that slipped between the cracks of the tables onto the floor, from an Art as a Sacred Practice class I taught to High School students several years ago. My intention was to find the intrinsic value in each remnant. Often the beauty of an individual person goes unrecognized or unappreciated until it is revealed in the context of a relationship; the same is true of colors, shapes and textures.
