Three Oranges

Abstract photo, driving in the car through autumn rain
I had a dream so strange
Three oranges rotting beneath my bed
Each bulged unnaturally
The blue-green of oxidized copper edged
Clearly painful seams
As one by one they began to split
Tiny winged creatures emerged
To dance and dance around my head
I had a dream so strange
Three oranges rotting beneath my bed

I really did have this dream. I find sometimes it is best to allow mysteries to remain whole without interpretation; dream as art, like a poem, painting or photograph.

If it feels right to you, join me in chanting a healing prayer by clicking the link below (or say a prayer of your own) for my friend Nisa Etta bat Sara Faga v/Melech, she will be undergoing brain surgery starting at 8am est today. Include other beloveds in need of healing as you sing along, listen, pray. I have a list that is growing; I suppose this is the way of things as we age. I hold each precious being in my heart with loving awareness.
Please God, please heal her.

  11. So in love with the mysteries!! This is a beautiful photo, and the poetic way you've presented your dream - all fitting together, one reinforcing the other...

I am late for Nisa's surgery, but am sending prayers for her healing. My computer is so sluggish today, and keeps freezing, but I'm going to try to chant with the video later, too.
Love and healing to all facing these great challenges. ♥ K

  15. Interesting little dreamscape...it certainly has the feel of one. That strange touch of the arabesque and the unreal...

And all the best to your friend - may her surgery be without complication, her recovery swift and sound.

  16. Flower burst forth in bearing the fruits... each of the fruits has the seeds of the tree... sometimes our subconsciousness plays a part in bringing us the divinity... may you be blessed....

  17. Thoughts of healing, love and light for your dear friend, Laura. She is lucky to have your light on her side. I too am prone to strange dreams...it's when they come true that really sends me round the bend!

  18. The dream...and the image...are each pure in their poetry.
The soundcard on my computer needs replacing so I cannot hear the chant with my physical ears...

how lovely though that my heart knows the healing chants to send out into the unified field.

I will move through my days and carry Metta... singing ...

May you be at peace, may your heart remain open, may you awaken to the light of your own true nature, may you be healed, may you be a source of healing for all beings...

Metta to us all...as we each continue our healing and joining with one another.
