Laura, I come here to your blog to feel refreshed, and you never fail me. Thank you.
ReplyDelete"fragile and tenacious all at once..." and in my mind I thought "is this life" before I finished reading your post. "This is life."
ReplyDeleteOnce we know that, everything changes.
Beautiful post and lovely images. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteAt first glance in my blogroll I thought 'Hermit Crabs!!!' when I saw the top photo. Great shot as always and lovely thoughts :o)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Laura and so fragile... I really love it!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Holland,
Anna :-))
You got it exactly right, a perfect analogy! At first I thought these were shells, so interesting, they are quite pretty!
ReplyDeletefragile AND tenacious
ReplyDeleteyes the combination is possible
The lichens are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLife is hard, it just is.
We bring the softness wrapped in love we learn at the feet of God.
((hugs))
What a beautiful image...it almost looks like an abstract piece of art!
ReplyDeleteI recall once, during my misspent youth, being high in the Rockies...ahem...and, well, everything got kind of, well, intense, so I decided to look at a rock, since what could be less mundane and un-intense than a rock? But, as it turned out, there were lichens on it...and lichens, it turned out, were very, very intense at that moment...
ReplyDeleteAh.. this is an amazing image Laura... interesting too. What unusual creatures. One thing I like about the Winter...the going within... like settling in to the fire at the hearth (or is that fire at the heart?) -- of our HOME.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you, and your generous spirit of sharing..and creativity! -- you're an incredible photographer. You have quite a 'vision'.
love you so much..xxoo.. Cheryl
