ReplyDeletePeace to you too my dear!
I like the stark simplicity of that leaf. It's the more striking for it.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Laura... thank you!!
ReplyDeleteIf only... in reference to the last few lines
ReplyDeleteI love the likening of the leaf to the unfurling flag and honoring the ones who've fallen. This is written with such heart just as all of your work. I leave feeling the immensity of genuine spoken words. Thank you, Laura!
ReplyDeleteyes, oh yes, peace peace, peace..
ReplyDeleteI like that prayer flag for peace ~
ReplyDeleteSo inspirational and uplifting.
ReplyDeleteAmen, girl. And thank you for the several nice comments you have left me. I love them.
ReplyDeleteoh, what a wonderful piece. i love the idea of a Prayer Flag, and also love how the leaf has the appearance of a flag, yet it's wilting, which in itself says volumes. Excellent verse, but in addition the funnel appearance ending with repetition came out great. Really enjoyed, thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful prayer flag of piece
ReplyDeleteVery inspirational! The shape of this reminds me of a prayer being sent toward heaven with the way it opens up at the top...very nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a great macro and love the prayer is perfect for it. Thanks!!

Just gorgeous work!
ReplyDeletePEACE, PEACE, PEACE! And it is up to us humans. Sometimes I believe that ANTS have more sense than us--not sometimes--ALL the time!
ReplyDeleteA better understanding for me to entertain on this topic of PEACE...is that it is our culture and conditioning, not our NATURE, which divides us.
The answer is still--for me:
LOVE and PEACE!
EVERY time I see military Peeps in uniform, I tell them "Thank you"...for their service. And I've NEVER been given a response OTHER than a big smile!
This is shaped so neatly and reads so well...total win!
ReplyDeleteDear Laura...this is gorgeous!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely wishes for Memorial Day!
ReplyDeletei like the shape this takes, and the end seems to fade and whisper away
ReplyDeletespaceship tanka

ReplyDeleteflag of peace.
ReplyDeletewords draining away to the only one that really matters.
If it could be so...
