Expansive Summer

expansive summer
days will end all too soon i'm
loving each moment

soaking up the joy
of sun sand flowers being
alive blessed awake

hello friends,
i am thoroughly enjoying a summer blogcation, still i look forward to visiting your beautiful blogs when the season winds down.

for now, thank you with all of my heart for continuing to visit here. welcome to the many new followers of this blog. wow what a surprise when i turned on my computer today and saw your faces on google friend connect! i've not been turning it on much at all lately because...

i've been spending as much time outdoors as i can. i'm actually a lot tanner now than in the self portrait above, it was taken before we went to the beach. i thank God and my doctors for the grace of the longest remission i've had in four years. however long it lasts i will remember this precious summer always with deep deep gratitude, truly this has been an unexpected delightful gift :-)

I'm glad you're enjoying your blogcation :) and the summer. I love coming to your blog and feasting my eyes on the beauty you've captured, and to feel your beautiful, luminous, creative spirit. Keep enjoying dear sister...and thank you for reminding me/us to do the same, ..in all the ways that you let you Shine Your Divine.

I'm Shining my Divine by 'begining again' at my Gratitude Blog: http://gratitude360.blogspot.com/ ...

as well as a new blog called Yarn Jones, mainly to capture the teddy bears I knit/crochet for Mother Bear Project: http://yarnjones.blogspot.com/ and, the latest excitement is 3 of my knitted bears were spotted in the hands of the children who received them...all the way in Africa... Wow, our work does make a difference. Each and every one of us. The 3 photos (so far) are posted on my blog

    I love you, forever!!...

  39. I'm wondering why it's so easy to look toward the end of things. I do. I keep saying to myself, "One more week, vacation's over, and I'm back in the classroom." Why? (See what your musings did to me?!)

  58. Dear heart - I just stopped by to give you a hug. What a lovely photo of you! I'm just thrilled to learn that you're enjoying a wonderful period of remission. I almost don't want to call it a "remission" because it sounds so temporary; I'll say instead that you are vibrantly alive: yesterday, today and tomorrow and each day thereafter. Yes, much better, I think.

  63. This has been a very special summer for me, too, with month long visits from my dad and my daughter who lives in California. My daughter and I just returned from a week at Isabella Freedman where we studied with Diane and Julie. I met Amy who works with you in your home. Joel and Terri were also there and your wonderful presence was missing. Glad that you have a great time at the beach. --Linda
