absent

absent is the sun
or so it seems here beneath
dense damp flannel skies

leaves reveal the truth
the sun is ever present
hidden for all to see
held in abundant
color-steeped
splendor

  7. They lines to the light are diffused, all around us and in everything. The light leads us to love and love allows us to live. All captured compactly here!

I hate to seem ignorant but I am guessing this is also a shape poem, an autumn leaf. Right?

  31. I have been thinking of you! Thank you for your comment over at my place. I read all your posts but have not commented in a while. I have been thinking of how different your house must feel these days with Belin away at school. I'm glad to read that you are feeling well and busy living life.
