love always is waiting to be found...by those that are looking...smiles...wonderful found heart...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful prose to accompany a beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!! Hearts to you!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love is everywhere when you reach out to find it :)
ReplyDeleteLove is everywhere... so beautiful, Laura.
ReplyDeleteoh i love the wood heart in the snow...and yeah...it IS waiting to be found...smiles
ReplyDeleteAnd it wants to be found. Nice one.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI read your longer poem and thoroughly enjoyed the deeper messages I found there.
ReplyDeleteHow you find hearts everywhere you look is astounding to me. It tells me that YOU are all heart. Hugs to you, Laura.
ReplyDeleteThe image (is it wood?) kind of looks like a snagged heart. And it's against ice, so it's warm on cold. Is it pleasing or too textured to enjoy? Not sure.
ReplyDeletethat's great how you found that piece of wood and you are saying that it's a metaphor that love needs to be found
ReplyDeleteepideictic rhetoric
So beautiful and true!! ♥
ReplyDeleteA lovely find, the heart shaped piece of wood. Beautiful haiku! Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I thin it has been found in this photo.
ReplyDeleteIt is like that isn't it? That frozen ground waiting to be melted with love. Great images :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous..... A tiny piece of ordinary magic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beautiful heart!
ReplyDeleteI like the haiku, but loved the long version. How talented you are.
ReplyDeleteIt IS wonderful what you can find strewn in your path if you are really looking. Once I found a paper ripped in two. When I picked it up and put it together it was a clown face. And I recognized myself in it. The Fool is the beginning of wisdom. And warm hearts are waiting all around you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of a "wooden heart" you show. Wish you a good day :) Hanne Bente
ReplyDeleteLove it, great writing as always.
ReplyDeletePowerful imagery, textures and metaphors, both in the photo and throughout the long poem. Thanks, peace, and continued good things for you.
ReplyDeleteDiane

it is the moments when you discover ordinary becomes extraordinary!! beautiful laura.
ReplyDeleteThis is akin to the man in the (half) moon where the textures in earth's moon looks as a face. What is cool here is that e are keyed to look up for this. Yet this face is from the earth where we wouldn't normally look. But you did - and have exhibited for our benefit. Very nice find and haiku!
ReplyDeleteThis is so inspiring ! Blessings !
