Yes - so very beautiful indeed!
ReplyDeleteI love the b & w of the round dam in the center of the photo....justspectacular
ReplyDeleteI watched a program the other day on beavers and how scientists are trying to get them to bring back the marsh and wetland. Two beavers can take a small running stream and a year later have a small lake that is thriving. The sad thing is, they do not always survive because they are eaten by predators but it is a work in progress. The scientists believe that beavers are a away to bring back the wetlands that are so vital to our environment.
ReplyDeleteGreat post for the "himmelske" theme!
ReplyDeleteNice to see!
Busy, Building, Beavers Borrowing Branches...Beautiful :D
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful too ♥
Clever title or this post, Laura! I have seen a lot of beaver evidence lately, in fact I scared a couple of beavers the other day. They let me know by slapping their tails on water to make huge splashes. :)
ReplyDeleteYour nature photos are gorgeous! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSPECTACULAR photos!!!!! What a glorious spot!!!!!! You made my day!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the dam and the reflections in the water.
ReplyDeleteThe reflections are gorgeous! Have you seen the beavers yet?

ReplyDeleteWonderful set of images.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the reflections in the water!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the beavers are having a good time. :)
That post title is so great. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of beavers around here, and the boys love the occasional sight of one as we're driving. Wonderful shots, Laura!
Dammed beautiful indeed Laur. (I love the title, being a sucker for puns!) It's a gorgeous place... that is some serious beaver work there! (I'm glad you got to go outside and take some pictures and hopefully relax a little.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, the reflection of the sky in the water is lovely. Bad beaver! Have a great weekend and happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, those photos are dammed beautiful. I'd hire that beaver any time, he/she is doing such great work. Looks like a really interesting place.
ReplyDeleteYou captured it so well in beautiful photography ~ Mother Nature's art. ^_^
ReplyDeletei love how the beaver's teethmarks on the trunk reminds me of some sculptor trying to convey intense emotion in her chiseling--or, could that be the other way around?
ReplyDeleteTerrific captures with reflections and all.
ReplyDeleteI like the sculptural tooth marks on the almost felled tree. The sky reflection in so much richer than the sky itself. Love all the architectural building shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great catch. Beavers are such interesting creatures.
ReplyDeleteNow that is quite a damn! Very busy beavers!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visiting and comment. Your pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFantastic place:) Greetings
ReplyDeleteвау! КАКИЕ ЧУДЕСНЫЕ ФОТО!Смотрю и восхищаюсь...

ReplyDeleteYep, darned beautiful, as you say it. Perfect title and perfect pics...
ReplyDeletebeavers are so industrious! Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos again. Great to see the beaver so busy 'beavering away'
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome reflections in both color and black and white...and those beavers. Boy, can they destroy the trees from around a lake. They are fearless. Would hate to have a run-in with their teeth. OUCH! Wonderful series. genie
ReplyDeleteHeips,
ReplyDeleteI love your reflections.
Regards from Finland
Orvokki

ReplyDeleteMy sky.
Beautiful series!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos !!!
ReplyDeleteI would also like to see a beaver at work (they do not live here, unfortunately.)
Thank you for this fabulous walk through incredible and beautiful lanscapes!
ReplyDeleteThank you also for joining my blog, you're welcome!
i'm sending caresses for Ellie.
I've seen beaver dams before but this one is the biggest one I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteGreat mix of colour and black and white in this.
ReplyDeleteWow! Just wow! I saw the beaver in the middle of that one photo. Imagine all that work they do. Mother Nature has given them one fine set of teeth, and a really smart brain to move the wood to the right place. Animals are so much smarter than we give them credit for. In my house, my macaw is smarter than my dog. My dog is smarter than me. Uh huh!
ReplyDeletewonderful shots - great perspectives, and superb reflections...enlarging the pics made them even better!
ReplyDeleteSuch creativity, productivity and destruction all at once. Amazing to see what beavers can do.
ReplyDeleteQuite beautiful!
ReplyDelete(But the beaver dam reminds me of the story of the EPA prosecuting a farmer for having an unauthorized dam on his property - and it was a dam built by a beaver!)
«Louis» thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.
Hi! Beautiful photos. And I had complexed feelings.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful Sunday.
So crisp and clear. Beautiful reflections and images!
ReplyDeleteWow! You have a beaver dam in your neighborhood? How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos...I loved seeing all the steps and phases of the beavers' efforts. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of photos here, congrats!
