I Heart Macro Week 9

Welcome to our Ninth Week of I Heart Macro

"Pure awareness transcends thinking... It allows you to look at the world once again with open eyes. And when you do so, a sense of wonder and quiet contentment begins to reappear in your life."~Mark Williams and Danny Pennman, from Mindfulness An Eight-Week Plan For Finding Peace In A Frantic World

It is time for YOU to share the love up-close with YOUR
I Heart Macro offerings!
Shine the Divine

every breath sacred
holiness as connection
fills the sea of tears

possibility
birthing ocean diving in
again and again

Some thoughts for this week:
Every breath is sacred, a gift. We’ve all had glimpses of this truth, no matter how fleeting, and when see the marvel of this life; a wholesome desire arises to not waste the preciousness of what has been given, even when this particular offering is a passing awareness.

In my experience, it is possible to learn to savor the greatest challenges faced, for what they teach. That is not to say we attach our selves to suffering, rather we begin to observe pain as it dissolves, becoming one with the ocean’s tears. Bubbling up to the surface a new transparent possibility arises. This is a moment of transformation, for something miraculous, surprising, and yes, ephemeral has stirred us to remember; every breath is sacred, a gift. And in this knowing, we can once more exhale, release our grasping grip, open to the next inhalation, right here, right now.

Enjoy slowing down with your camera, paying full attention, observing beauty and curiosities many people pass right by. Your generosity of spirit and keen eyes may open the door to miniscule miracles and mirth others would not have access to otherwise. Feel free to include poetry, prose and thoughts your macro photo or series inspire(s) in you. Writing is completely optional for participation. Straight out of the camera (SOC), edited, color, black and white; anything goes as long as you bring the viewer near to whatever it is that drew your heart's attention and "woke you up" to full presence.

*I Heart Macro Linky opens Saturday evening 8pm EST.
I do hope you will come back and join us!

Ps.  If you were wondering, these are not soap bubbles, they are the magical froth that met my toes at the edge of the sea. If you look closely you can see the sand.

  42. Life is about diving in... it isn't (or shouldn't be) a spectator sport. The rainbow bubbles are amazing in your image. I hope to join in someday with this prompt again as I love photography. Just so busy and must even limit my visiting - summer has me running (enjoying it though) - lots of breaths - lots of exercise. Yes, sacred indeed :)
