I Heart Macro Week 21

edges shadow light all blur yet
there are roads on this map
i still recognize

Welcome to our Twenty First Week of
 I Heart Macro

"Pure awareness transcends thinking... It allows you to look at the world once again with open eyes. And when you do so, a sense of wonder and quiet contentment begins to reappear in your life."~Mark Williams and Danny Pennman, from Mindfulness An Eight-Week Plan For Finding Peace In A Frantic World

It is time for YOU to share the love up-close with YOUR
I Heart Macro offerings!

Shine the Divine

lechi lach
you must leave
what you know
it is the only way home

Enjoy slowing down with your camera, paying full attention, observing beauty and curiosities many people pass right by. Your generosity of spirit and keen eyes may open the door to miniscule miracles and mirth others would not have access to otherwise. Feel free to include poetry, prose and thoughts your macro photo or series inspire(s) in you. Writing is completely optional for participation. Straight out of the camera (SOC), edited, color, black and white; anything goes as long as you bring the viewer near to whatever it is that drew your heart's attention and "woke you up" to full presence.

I'll see my doctor again on Thursday and will share an MS update after we have MRI results to go with blood work that is now in. We have some important treatment decisions to make. I feel ok enough, just really tired friends. I'm so glad I had a chance to take some lovely macros before this inevitable shift in my health. I feel very connected to this season of transition and transformation; oh so grateful for the abundance of beauty right outside my bedroom windows, and kindness that flows daily through your messages. Thank you.

  41. My leaves generally don't make it home like I see them in the outside. So I take pictures too, whether or not I post them. You did great with yours.

Poor Ellie. I hope the MRI will help to make good decisions for her. Good that her seizures have slowed down. We went through all that with Adi and she got so she could not stand. So last September (2012) we had to put her to sleep.

Now our poor Katrin is having liver failure along with her arthritis. She decided she does not want to eat. We had to tak her off meds as she throws every one of those up along with her food (before she stopped eating). Still she is cheerful??? We have the vet appt to help decide what next for treatment.

  53. At first I thought, I've left a comment here. But now realize this is a new post - you are addicted to leaves at the moment :) as it should be. Ours are starting to turn now - still a lot of green but finally a transition is occurring. - your words of "leaving what you know" are so true on this journey of life... Will try and post next week for I Heart Macro - had all six kids home for a four day weekend a few days ago :)
