Winds of Mystery

FAITH- waiting for spring
hidden deep in buds on high
winds of mystery sing

life force aria
echoes throughout the heavens
earthbound shiver- AWED

The snow is starting to melt, roof bare, soil breathing in circles pooled around the base of trees as ice recedes. Waiting still for seeds below the surface to push faces towards the sun. They will, they always do, hope wraps warm arms around us, holding us close in our collective impatience and excited anticipation.

  1. The words "winds of mystery" are poetic, like the Lake Poets.

  2. Your last shot is absolutely gorgeous. What a fabulous capture. Your photos and haiku are always so beautiful. I have loved my two books and now my physical therapist has them. They are life changers. Thanks again for that original recommendation and link.

  6. "echoes throughout the heavens".... lovely saying this... and seeing such gorgeous pics!!
I will repeat myself...Yes, the calendar says: it is Spring time... but.. I was afraid (a day ago) that the rain will come over us!!.. In some parts (such awful forecast) is still a wintery (or autumn) atmosphere!
All the best for soon up-coming weekend!

  11. Oh, all the colors of blue make me smile. We are waiting here, too, with the awareness that a date on the calendar does not a season bring. Big dip in temps to single digits expected Monday night. Sigh. Spring will come. The waiting teaches me patience ~

  40. Hello Laura. What an amazing Blog you have. I've been wandering about it awed by the variety of Soul Lifting content I've discovered. You may have MS, but it certainly doesn't prevent you from being and sharing heaps. You are truly quite awesome. A definite inspiration.
So glad you visited, has been very insightful being here.

And your photos... well I love silhouetted trees... and their backdrop of sky colours are absolutely beautiful, and well done with the Sun on the last photo.

Reading your words about the Snow melting had me realise that one of the significant benefits of living in such environments, is the moisture new life waiting to emerge receives during the melt time. That's rather special. Protected by a blanket of Snow during Winter, becomes the source of sustenance during Spring.

I like that thought even if I'm not right. May your Spring arrive soon, and be refreshingly renewing, and your Summer not be too hot.

Thanks for Following my Blog, a truly lovely surprise, and now in being here, I feel it to be a very generous gesture also. Appreciated.

I*m also waiting the spring, we don't have any snow (in South-Finland), but it's still night frost. Spring came early here. Normally would still have a lot of snow.
    Have a nice weekend

I don't have a lot of faith in anything any more, except for the fact that the Universe goes on, regardless of whether I have faith or not.
