While it is still Sukkot as I write this, on Friday this week, this portion of the Jewish
holiday cycle will culminate with Simchat
Torah, celebrating our joy in the gift of Torah, an ancient map for how to live life. Hidden in the
"white fire" the spaces between the words there is far more meaning
than the literal words carefully scribed in black ink on parchment. The text tells a story, gives many important moral dictates, but there is so much more,
the oral Torah the transmission and learning’s that are revealed through study
applied to living here and now, is how and where v’nishmat, listening and understanding, really takes place.
The last word in the Torah, "Yisrael" (a word
that describes a particular people and simultaneously all who struggle for
meaning in the vastness of life unfolding, the mysteries and Mystery of Being),
ends with the letter "Lamed".
The first word in the Torah "B'reishit," "in the beginning," begins with the letter "bet" or "vet".
Linking these two letters together back to front we discover the word "lev," the Hebrew word for heart. The whole of Torah, this ancient map that guides us
in understanding our purpose as humans in partnership with Beingness, is
wrapped in a heart of compassion. May love from endless beginnings continuously
lead us back to Oneness.
There
is still “thyme” to make a secure online donation to the 30th annual

So thankful for letting me the chance to use as a motto some excerpts from your sensitive words written in a previous post... words of a great and special wisdom and inspiration/positivity, so well expressed to bring a little inspiration of living with joy and sincerity especially to ourselves and then, even, shared to the others.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I made myself understood in what I said, cause english is the language, that I'm trying hard to improve it while I'm in a process of continuing learning through reading and writing.
Thank you kindly, once again, and I'll link a little bit late, with a small pause of a week, due to a catch of coldness (autumnal virosa respiratory... sorry about that) and who affected my blogging activity in previous week and even, in actual one. So all the best in every activity, greetings of well and a sunny october day!
