Creativity IS a Spiritual Practice

When we see through our hearts, we recognize that every single one of us is infused with creativity. Divine Sparks are embedded in everyone and everything. It's up to us to be courageous, to look and listen deeply, to find the sparks, gather and release them back into the universe, transformed into something new. Join me as we wake up to the sacred-ordinary blessings waiting to greet us each and every day.

Hakarat Hatov Nov 15 2014

Grateful for spontaneity, those moments when my husband says, "lets hike a little mountain this afternoon"… and we do!

the weekend in black and white

Throughout the month of November, I will be posting a photo (or maybe a few) each day of something that invited me to pause and lifted up gratitude, joy, perhaps a quiver of awe in my heart the moment I stopped to be present and really see. By reviewing the image/images to share with you, the experience is engraved deeper in my consciousness, strengthening a reserve of gratitude and goodness to savor and draw upon when gloomy weather outside echoes inside, or vice versa. For me this is a devotional photographic journey for developing the soul quality of Hakarat Hatov, recognizing the good, a Jewish spiritual practice for cultivating gratitude. I may add writing some days, I may not; I’ll trust my inner compass to guide me.

I will include a link back to each Sunday’s I Heart Macro post so you can share the love up-close anytime during the week as usual.

I look forward to receiving your written patches of thanks for this year's
6th Annual Gratitude Quilt!
Everyone, including YOU is invited to participate.

(Instructions for how to participate can be found at the top of this blog.)
