I Heart Macro 109

As we approach Independence Day here in the United States following a week of mourning for the lives of good people taken by a cowardly act of terror in Charleston and a giant step forward (in my opinion) for equality, agreeing to disagree, because we are a democracy, I choose to celebrate our freedom to love whomever we love, uphold the beauty and sanctity of marriage by saying no to fear and hate, bridging the artificial color divide with a rainbow of earth’s stars connecting us all, human to human, one nation among many sharing this diverse extraordinary planet under the same vast sky.

I believe in kindness, I believe in respect, I believe in God, I believe in the healing power of love to create a better world for all beings.

Welcome to Week 109

  17. Laura, you have some gorgeous macro shots. I have not been too fortunate to capture any this year. I had such high hopes of using my newly acquired macro lens this spring/summer, but a good opportunity hasn't presented itself. SIGH. Oh well...at least I can enjoy photos of others who are able to seize the moment. Thanks for stopping by!
