I Heart Macro 115

summer's soft palette
shifting toward warmer hues still
lifts her voice in song

Oh the seasons they are changing in countless ways.

Another busy week ahead, I will resume teaching meditation in our community on Wednesday, the holy days are rapidly approaching, AND we are preparing for our youngest to move into college next Sunday! That being said, I Heart Macro may get off to a late next week, we shall see.

Welcome to Week 115
I Heart Macro
"Pure awareness transcends thinking... It allows you to look at the world once again with open eyes. And when you do so, a sense of wonder and quiet contentment begins to reappear in your life."~Mark Williams and Danny Pennman, from Mindfulness An Eight-Week Plan For Finding Peace In A Frantic World

It is time for YOU to share the love up-close with YOUR
I Heart Macro offerings!

Enjoy slowing down with your camera, paying full attention, observing beauty and curiosities many people pass right by. Your generosity of spirit and keen eyes may open the door to miniscule miracles and mirth others would not have access to otherwise. Feel free to include poetry, prose and thoughts your macro photo or series inspire(s) in you. Writing is completely optional for participation. Straight out of the camera (SOC), edited, color, black and white, anything goes as long as you bring the viewer near to whatever it is that drew your heart's attention and "woke you up" to full presence.

  5. Your flowers are so pretty, I especially like the blue of the Chicory. I have one blooming in my garden, and saw a bunch today adding their blue to a field of golden grasses. I like the notched edges of the petals.

  23. A beautiful summer to fall transition here in these pictures! I always thought New Years Day should be in September. Even now, long after we have any direct connection to school, it still seems like the time of new beginnings.

  24. That little blue flower is periwinkle in color, isn't it? I've always wondered how the crayon periwinkle would show itself in nature.

I hope you nevertheless had a good week and you and your family will have a great Sunday!!!
Your beautiful pictures of the summer's soft palett make me smile and warm me up, because Autumn knocks at the door and it's getting a little bit colder especially in Europe now...my heart is bleeding, because of all the people, who search shelter and a peaceful place to live...I hope they get help, soon!!!
    Have a wonderful time!!!
    Much love and light
    Katrin :)

I am away from home and don't have access to a computer to fix this problem. I am very sorry. Because I don't want to link into your big without adding a link back to you, would you delete my link until I can? Thank you. Your photo is gorgeous. It looks like a painting. Christa
