Shine the Divine:

Creativity IS a Spiritual Practice

When we see through our hearts, we recognize that every single one of us is infused with creativity. Divine Sparks are embedded in everyone and everything. It's up to us to be courageous, to look and listen deeply, to find the sparks, gather and release them back into the universe, transformed into something new. Join me as we wake up to the sacred-ordinary blessings waiting to greet us each and every day.

I Heart Macro 119

in this moment love
takes form as withered flowers
ever my teachers

seeds remain an offering
gentle fingers set them free
grace in gratitude

On Thursday, December 31st the 2015 Gratitude Quilt will unfurl. There is still a little more time to participate if you haven’t already sent a “patch”... instructions are at the top of this blog. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed. This year will be a simple quilt, we all have a lot going on.

Thank you everyone for you kind words of comfort, this has been a difficult time. Grieving and healing will take their time for all of us who love Barbara.

Tomorrow I am having a minor medical procedure that will hopefully relieve some MS related chronic physical pain I’ve been living with for many years. I am grateful for the doctors and all of their staff, whom I know will do their best to take care of me. May the Holy One of Blessing guide their hearts, minds, hands and those of all healers.

Welcome to Week 119
I Heart Macro
"Pure awareness transcends thinking... It allows you to look at the world once again with open eyes. And when you do so, a sense of wonder and quiet contentment begins to reappear in your life."~Mark Williams and Danny Pennman, from Mindfulness An Eight-Week Plan For Finding Peace In A Frantic World

It is time for YOU to share the love up-close with YOUR
I Heart Macro offerings!

Enjoy slowing down with your camera, paying full attention, observing beauty and curiosities many people pass right by. Your generosity of spirit and keen eyes may open the door to miniscule miracles and mirth others would not have access to otherwise. Feel free to include poetry, prose and thoughts your macro photo or series inspire(s) in you. Writing is completely optional for participation. Straight out of the camera (SOC), edited, color, black and white, anything goes as long as you bring the viewer near to whatever it is that drew your heart's attention and "woke you up" to full presence.

  8. I hope to be participating more Laura. Right now I am so delighted I got on line. I am on vacation and wi-fi is very iffy here. I pressed your contact page above and couldn't get to it so I hope you don't mind if I put my gratitude quilt piece here.
